I was in Kaeo from Nov 2013 to Feb '14 at my parents house in Green Lane. The flood works was in full swing; quite a trauma for some I'm sure. Phil Green seeing his farm being carved up etc. I would be interested to know the latest.

Welcome all we are holding the Waimamaku Wild West Festival, Saturday 2nd March 2013. It is held on the main street in the village. There is a Highway Hold-up before you enter the village. A donation is given. We have shoot-out with cowboys on horses shooting up the town. Good fun. Stalls are...
